Clarence Ray Sullivan was born February 20, 1940 in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in Guthrie, OK. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Sullivan, parents Thelma and Clarence Sullivan, and brother Bill Sullivan. Clarence is survived by his wife Mary Sullivan of the home; sister Jenny Coats and husband Don of New Mexico; brother Edwin and wife Carol Smith of Arizona; daughters Debra and husband Michael and Pamela Powell and friend Diane Kee all of Oklahoma; son Terry Sullivan and wife Laurie of Nevada; mother to his children Eileen Sullivan; step-children Lynette, Gladys, John, Wilma, and Charlotte; his grandchildren Tiffany, Blair, Morgan, Tony, Sheena, Porsha, and Nikki; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Ray was an outdoor person. He loved to fish. He fished in many bass tournaments, panned for gold in Arizona, and camped and trout fished in Arizona. He also wrote short stories for his family and friends. He could tell stories of the past and be so funny in the telling of these stories. He will be missed by all. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Mineral Wells Park in the 1100 block of South Division. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. |
