W. F. FARRAR DIES |
Services Friday For Longtime Resident Of Guthrie |
William F. Farrar, age 54, county resident for 26 years, died about 11 p.m., Wednesday night at his home northeast of Guthrie.
Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist church at 2:30 p.m., Friday, with Rev. H. H. Boston officiating. Interment will be at Summit View cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral home.
Farrar had been employed as a plumber with Benson and Farrar here for many years. He had been a member and active worker of the First Baptist church and was a member of I.O.O.F. lodge for 35 years.
Survivors are his widow, Pamelia B. Farrar, mother, Mrs. Sophia Farrar, three children, Irene Hicks, Leatha Farrar, all of Guthrie, and Flora LeGate, Woodward; two sons, Irvin and Milton Farrar, Guthrie; three brothers, Ralph and Hugh Farrar, Guthrie and Charles Farrar, Seattle, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Rimbey, Oklahoma City and Mrs. Mae Mills, Raydon, Okla. |
