I would appreciate any collateral information on either Mr. Rutterbusch
or W.P. Eager. The check features a vignette of a three quarter left
facing "indian". If this depiction is of an actual individual; name and

Crescent, Nesbit. Specifically Fredrick A Heuring, Chaplain for this post
in approx. 1895 at age 68.
Listed on his GAR Chaplain of Dept. of Okla paper are surnames
LANHEAD (position?)
Rollin F. FARR (Post commander)
AG ELLSWORTH (Adjutant)
Fredrick was Chaplain for the 25th Indiana Vol Reg. 1861-1864 and served
in the Indiana GAR as well.
Anyone have any info on this GAR post or Fredrick?

Nelson is listed in the US census of 1900 in Woodland Twp, Logan County.
He died about 1902, but I am not sure when nor do I know where he is
buried. I would be most grateful if any one could help. His wife, Lydia
Ann Chadwick Nelson died in Logan County about 1892. Again I do not know
where she is buried. Finally , any information on Harvey Clay Ray (1821-
1898) would be very helpful. Harvey is buried in Seward. Thank you,
