Died in 1893 at Hurd, Pontotoc Co. James Kellogg is a Civil War veteran who served in the 98th IL Infantry.

Elizabeth Fry Kellogg b. January 1830 in Holmes Co, OH, married to James Kellogg in Richland Co, IL on 7 May 1848. Died at Oakman, Pontotoc, OK in 1908.
Received a widow's pension in Pontotoc County as James' widow. Mother of nine children, eight of whom lived to adulthood:

Lived in Pontotoc Co by 1900 or earlier. Died at Francis, Pontotoc Co. on 16 Dec 1945 is buried at Francis, wife Louisa died in Francis on 16 Sept 1958 and is buried next to Stephen.

Ola "Ollie" Kellogg b.1864 in Richland Co, IL married a Mr. Newton. Ola lived in TX and OK near her parents.

John Kellogg b. 1866 in Richland Co, IL

Sarah "Sally" Kellogg b. Sept 1870 in Richland Co, IL. Sarah came to TX and OK with her parents. She married a Mr. Cargill and they lived in Pontotoc County.

HAMMOND FAMILY IN PONTOTOC CO, OK

William Henry Hammond b. 5 April 1854 in Hempstead/now Nevada Co, AR married to his widowed first cousin, Eliza J. Wilson Workman in I.T., 16 June 1890. They lived in Pontotoc Co at Francis. Eliza died 12 March 1912 and is buried at Francis. William died in Guthrie, OK on 11 April 1928.
He is buried at Francis next to Eliza. They had two sons:

William Flint Hammond b. Jan 1892 at Waldron, AR, lived at Francis, OK with parents Wm Henry and Eliza Jane Wilson Workman. William Flint was married to Margaret Alice Hunt at Oakman, Pontotoc Co, OK in August 1914. William died at Ada in April 1961 and is buried at Francis. Margaret died 22 May 1981 at Ada and is buried at Stratford, Garvin Co, OK.

Francis Basil Hammond b.9 Oct 1896 in Mayhew community near Boswell, Choctaw Nation, OK married to Essie Kellogg b. 8 Jan 1904 in Pontotoc Co, OK, the daughter of Stephen Kellogg. Francis died in 1980 in Oklahoma City, OK.
