Woodward County, Oklahoma was formed in 1893 from the Cherokee Outlet. Birth and death records are on file since 1908. Marriage records exist from 1897 to the present. Land and court records are on file since 1894, while probate records exist since 1900.

If you can prove each generation of your lineage back to an individual who settled in one of Oklahoma's territories on or before 16 November 1907, you are eligible for membership in First Families of the Twin Territories.
