MINUTES OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT CHURCH
ACTS OF THE CHURCH
March 9, 1845
The Mount Pleasant Church being assembled at their usual place of worship, it was resolved to proceed to the choice of Ruling Elders.
A nomination being called for Br. Isaac Fulsom and Br. Nicholas Cochnauer were nominated and seconded and were unanimously chosen to act as Ruling Elders in this Church.
The Elders elect having in the presents of the congregation answered affirmatively the questions required by the book of discipline were set apart by prayer to the office to which they had been chosen.
June 21st. 1846
The Mount Pleasant Church being assembled at their usual place of worship, resolved to increase the number of their session by the choice of one or more ruling elders. Whereupon brother David Perkins and Br. J. Potter were nominated to the office of Ruling Elder.
These nominations being seconded it was unanimously voted that the above named brethren be Ruling Elder in the Mount Pleasant Church.
The Elders elect having answered the questions required in the book of discipline were ordained to their office by prayer by Rev. C. Kingsbury. C. Kingsbury, Mod. of Meeting.

At a meeting of the Church called for the purpose it was resolved that Brother David Perkins be their Delegate to attend the meeting of Presbytery to be held at Goodland on the 13th of September Next. C. Kingsbury, Mod.

At a meeting of the Mt. Pleasant Church it was resolved that Br. Nicholas Cochnauer be their delegate to attend the next meeting of the Presbytery to be held at Spencer
Academy on the 12th of September next. At a meeting of the Mt. Pleasant Church Oct. 28th 1849 it was voted that C. C. Copeland be a ruling Elder in this Church. C. Kingsbury, Mod.

At a meeting of the Mt. Pleasant church, Brother Willie Wright was nominated and unanimously chosen to act as Ruling Elder of this Church, and he having answered affirmatively the questions required by the discipline, was set apart by prayer to the office to which he had been chosen. At a meeting of Mt. Pleasant Church Simon Moseley was unanimously chosen to act as Ruling elder in this Church and he having answered affirmatively the questions required by the book of discipline was set apart by prayer to the office to which he had been chosen. C. C. Copeland, Mod.
August 6, 1854
Bro. Sam McGee was unanimously chosen to act as a Ruling Elder in this Church and having answered in the affirmative the questions required by the book of discipline, was set apart by prayer to the office to which he had been chosen. C. C. Copeland, Mod.

Bro. Joseph Frazier was unanimously chosen to act as a Ruling Elder in this Church, and he having answered in the affirmative the questions required by the book of discipline was set apart by prayer to the office to which he was chosen. C. C. Copeland, Mod.
November 11th, 1860
At a meeting of the Mt. Pleasant Church held Tomahushi North, 1860. David Perkins was nominated and unanimously chosen to be a Ruling Elder of this Church. After the Elder Elect has assented to the questions prescribed by the form of government, he was solemnly set apart by prayer to the office to which he had been chosen, Allen Wright, Mod.

At a meeting of the Mt. Pleasant church held at Tomahushi, Chester Holden was nominated and unanimously chosen to be a Ruling elder of this church. After the Elder Elect had assented to the Questions prescribed by the form of government, he was solemnly set apart by prayer to the office to which he had been chosen. Allen Wright, Moderator.

At the meeting of the Mt. Pleasant Church, James Tobli was unanimously chosen as Ruling elder in this Church. After the Elder Elect had assented to the questions prescribed by the form of government, he was solemnly set apart by prayer to the office to which he was chosen. Allen Wright, Moderator.

At a meeting of the Mt. Pleasant Church, Brother T. B. Turnbull was nominated and unanimously chosen to act as Ruling Elder in this Church, and he having answered affirmatively the questions required by the books of discipline was set apart by prayer and installed to the office to which he been chosen.
