MINUTES OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT CHURCH
October 27, 1844
A portion of the Mayhew Church, residing at a
distance from the usual place of worship and being assembled at Mount Pleasant,
requested to be organized into a separate Church.
It being understood that they have the consent
of the church of which they are members so to do, they were accordingly
organized by the Revd. C. Kingsbury, to take the name of the MOUNT PLEASANT
CHURCH.
The persons forming the new Church are:
