MINUTES OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT CHURCH

March 9th, 1845

The session of the Mount Pleasant Church, met at Mount Pleasant.

Present Revd. C. Kingsbury

Elders Isaac Folsom, Nicholas Cochnauer

The session was opened with prayer. Mrs. Catherine A. Kay presented a letter of recommendation from the Congregational Church in Marietta, Ohio, with a request to be received into the church.

Resolved that the request be granted.

Mrs. Anna H. Folsom presented a letter of recommendation from the church at Wheelock, with a request to be received to this church.

Resolved that the request be granted.

Mrs. Sophia Daily presented a letter of recommendation from the Mountain Fork Church with a request to be received to this church.

Resolved that her request be granted.

Mr. Samuel Folsom presented himself as a Candidate for admission to this Church. He was examined and received as a member.

The session was closed with prayer.

October 19, 1845

The session of Mt. Pleasant Church met at the Camp Ground near George Folsom's.

The session was opened with prayers.

Present Rev. E. Hotchkin

Elders  Isaac Folsom, N. Cochnauer

George Folsom presented himself as a candidate for admission to the Church. After examination, it was Resolved, That he be received.
