The session met and was opened with prayers.

Elder N. Cochnauer
Tennessee McGee presented herself as a
candidate for admission to the church. Her examination being satisfactory it was
resolved, that she be received.

Feb 25, 1949
The Session met and was opened with prayer.
Catherine Jones, Cillin W. Folsom, Sam McGeee,
Sally Ann Baptiste, and Lucin, were examined as to their religious experiences
and fitness to unite with the church. Their examination being satisfactory, they
were received as members of the Church.
Concluded by prayer.

The Session met at Mount Pleasant, and was
opened with prayer.

Elder N. Cochnauer
Willis Wright presented himself as a candidate
for admission to the church. His examination being satisfactory, Resd. that he
be recv'd.
Miss Hannah Moore having requested a dismission
for this church and a recommendation to the Congregational church in Union Coty,
Res. that her request be granted.
George Folsom, Eliza Folsom his wife, &
John Wesley residing in the neighborhood of Bennington church request that their
relation to be removed from this church, to the Bennington church, Resolved that
their request be granted.
Anna Folsom, having for a long time disregarded
her obligations to the Savior, and lived in the neglect of duty, Resd. that she
no longer consider a member of this church.
George Perkins and Cisteen Battees, members of
this church having been guilty of grossly immoral and unchristian conduct, Resd.
that they suspended from all the privileges of the church; and that unless they
manifest suitable repentance, their relation to this church must cease.
The cases of Elizabeth Jones (alias Gaines),
Elsy Wade, and Amanda Dana, were deferred.

The session of Mt. Pleasant Church met at
Bennington and was opened with prayer.

Samuel Folsom, a member of the Mt. Pleasant
Church, came before the Session of his own accord, and acknowledged that he had
sinned in a difficulty with his wife; in getting angry with her, and talking to
her as he ought not have done. He said he was sorry and ashamed for what he had
done, and hoped he should be forgiven. After considering all the circumstances
of the case, the session Resolved that, after a public statement of the case,
Br. Sam Folsom be considered as restored to the confidence of the church and
fellowship.

The session met at Mt. Pleasant, and was opened
with prayer.

D. Perkins with his wife, requested a
dismission from this church, and a recommendation to the Bennington Church,
within the bounds of which they reside. Resd. that their request be granted.
Charles C. Copeland, formerly a member of the
Mountain Fork Church, and now a licensed preacher, residing at Mt. Pleasant, was
received as a member of this church.
Elizabeth Jones, a member of this church,
having for a considerable time been guilty of the most scandalous sins, and
having left this part of the country and there being no reasonable hope of
reclaiming her, the session after deliberating considering her case, Resolved
that she no longer be a member of this church.
