MINUTES OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT CHURCH

Boggy Depot  Jan 15, 1870

The session met at Mt. Pleasant Church and was opened with prayer.

By invitation Lafayette Mosely Elder in the Chickasa Church.

Mrs. Nelly Lawrence again appeared before the Session as a candidate for admission into the chuch - in compliance with the request of the session last held at Tomahushi. Her wishes to unite with the church continue to be the same, and her religious experience satisfactory, and having been lawfully married to her husband, resolved, that she be received.

The session met and was opened with prayer.

By invitation Lafayette Mosely Elder in Chickasaw Church.

Bisey, a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church who once before appeared with request to be received and was required to procure a letter of dismission from that Church, again appeared before the Session, stating that the Church organization being disorganized therefore she obtained no certificate of dismission and again requested to be received. After a full examination as to religious experience and hope, Resolved that she be received on profession of her faith. James Tobbo was received by letter from Chick. Ch.
