Floyd Henry Bohannon, 71, of Poteau, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2002, in Muskogee. He was born Feb. 24, 1931 in
Bokoshe.
He was a machinist, liked camping, fishing and going to the lake. He was very proud of the fact that he was a
veteran of Korea where he served in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his son, Floyd J. Bohannon; three brothers; two sisters; and his parents, Henry and
Bertha (Bostic) Bohannon.
Survivors include his wife Marylee of the home; one daughter, Linda Babcock of Tulsa; one
step-daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Russell Tucker of Poteau; two granddaughters; two brothers and sister-in-law, Benjamin
and Beverly Bohannon of Sand Springs and Elijah Bohannan of Caney, Kan.; two sisters, Lucy Morgan of Virginia and Emma Pruett of Citrus Heights, Calif.; special nieces, Megan Lindenau and Kayla
Hartsock; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 at First Assembly of God Church in Panama with the Rev. Brian Smith
officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Panama under
the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Marylee; a daughter, Linda Babcock of Tulsa; a
