Mona Teresa Gibbs, 47, of Guthrie, Okla. passed away on Monday, December 27, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was born on October 7, 1963 to Leon and Vivian Sue (Simmons) Gibbs in Sapulpa, Okla. She enjoyed doing crafts such as, making earrings, Christmas stockings and dream catchers. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans and baby blankets. She completed medical school training.

She is preceded in death by her father Leon Gibbs.

She is survived by her son Ryan Andrew O’Reilly and wife Megan and daughter, Cambrie Leann Gibbs of the home, all of Guthrie; mother and step-father Mike and Sue Pence of Terlton, Okla.; step-mom Ella Gibbs of Sapulpa; siblings, Deon Gibbs and wife Barbara of Kellyville, Tammy Warlick and husband Andy of Shawnee, Okla., Shawn Pence and wife Kara of Woodward, Okla., Carrie Usey and husband Shane of Guthrie, Brian Gibbs of Sapulpa, Stephany Kirk and Eric, and Kevin Gibbs of Sapulpa; also, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Smith Funeral Chapel, Sapulpa. Bearers will be Ryan O’Reilly, Mike Pence, Shawn Pence, Shane Usey, Deon Gibbs and Brian Gibbs. Honorary bearers will be Eric Kirk, Kevin Gibbs, Andy Warlick and Anthony Gibbs.
