Linda Sue Kesselring, 62, of Oklahoma City died June 22, 2006 in Norman. Linda was born May 25, 1944 in Hot Springs, S.D. the daughter of Phillip George and Lucille Gates Schmid. She has been active in the First Methodist church in Altus.

Her family was the most important thing in her life. They include her husband, Gordon, whom she married Aug. 21, 1965; two sons, Brian and his wife, Shannon, and their children, Payton, Preston and Paxton and Kevin and his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Cailey and Caden; a sister, Glendle; two brothers, Ron and Phil; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at Candlewood Chapel, 315 S. Sooner Road. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oklahoma Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. We thank her for lessons in love, courage, strength and great Christian values.
