MEEK - Rose Louise Nowak, 97, Independent Insurance Broker, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2007. Born April 4, 1910 in Harrah, OK to the late Julia Mary (Harbut) and Peter Nowak. She was a charter member of Church of St. Mary's, a member of the St. John's Hospital Auxiliary, Brookside Business and Professional Women's Group, The Hoe and Hope Garden Club and Zenia Garden Club. Rose was very active with the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and worked in ticket sales for the Tulsa Opera for over 50 years. Funeral service 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2007, Chapel of St. Mary's, 1347 E. 49th Place, Tulsa. Graveside service following at 1:30 p.m., St. Teresa Cemetery in Harrah, OK.
