Lee R. "Poppy" Parker. 72. of Midwest City, passed away on Sunday. He was bom to Joseph & Gertrude Mae (Johnson) Parker on June 20. 1935 in Wewoka. OK.

Lee is a Navy Korean veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park, where he was a deacon. Lee came to Midwest City in 1900 previously living in Calvin, OK. He retired as a civil servant from Tinker AFB. Lee married Aileen Baker on April 6, 1955 in Calvin,  OK.

Lee is survived by his wife Aileen. daughter Rosie Nelson & husband Jerry,  4 grandchildren: Eric Nelson. Paul Nelson & wile Heather. Mandy Horton & husband Steve, and Alyssa Patlison & husband Patrick. 5 great-grandchildren. Emily. Ryan. Conner. Claire, and Shane, nephew George Renfrew. niece Sharon Thetford. brother and sister in law Jim & Janice Baker.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday. 4/10/2008 at the First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park with a 3:30 PM burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.
