HONORED: . . . Ken Greer, former U. S. District marshal was presented a lifetime membership in the Oklahoma Sheriff and Peace Officers Association at the annual convention in Tulsa. O. K. Bivins executive director made the presentation. Greer served as sheriff of Woods county before he was named marshal. He served 41 years as a peace officer.
HONORED: . . . At the state convention of Oklahoma Sheriffs and peace officers in Tulsa, Ken Greer was named a life time member of the organization. He will receive a gold card for his 41 years service as a peace officer. He was deputy sheriff of Woods County, Chief of police, Alva, Sheriff of Woods county and served eight years as U. S. Marshal. Greer was officially notified of the honor by O. K. Bivins, executive director of the association.
