My mother came with her people from Alabama when the Indians were driven out of there and brought to the Indian territory.  My father was a freighter driving through this country.

My Father came to Oklahoma from Ohio.  My mother's brother, David M. HODGE, spent all of his life in the interest of the Loyal Claims for the Creek Indians.  Pleasant PORTER chief of the Creek Tribe, was a near relative of my mother.
