This Indian burial ground
is located at South Utica Ave., Tulsa, [OK] one block south of 31st Street.
This is principally used by the Perryman and Beaver families, Creek Indians.
As is well known, the Perryman family was very prominent in the affairs
of the Creek Indians and in public affairs in general.
Below are the names of
various ones buried here and the dates of birth and death:
John H. Perryman (child),
b. Sept 9, 1872, d. Aug 1, 1883
George B. Perryman, b.
Apr 17, 1848, d. Apr 21, 1899
J. G. Perryman, b. apr
24, 1840, d. Mar 8, 1889
Rachael Perryman is also buried here but doesn't have a separate marker.
Rachael was the wife of George B. Perryman.
Legus Perryman, Chief
of the Creek Nation is buried at this place all tho his grave isn't marked,
but location of it is known by Dave Beaver, whose family is buried at this
burial ground.
Porter Perryman, last
elected Chief of the Creeks is buried here. <?>
