Senior colors flying from flag pole. everybody looks sleepy. Seniors move upstairs. Sept 4 Advisors chosen. P. G. U. (Pro German Union) organizes. Sept 6 ?Seniors fussing. What for? Want class meeting Sept 9 Nigger shooters thick in study hall. Catter, killer, patter, don't get excited, it's only a member of the Public Speaking class practicing his voice. Sept 10 At last, Senior class meeting. Talk over their new job of civilizing the "babes" of the Junior High, "Dr." Doyle as Pa. Sept 11 Lore room cleaned out and opened. Pee Wees challenge Midgets to football game. Mr. Graham tells off on Mr. Doyle. "Praise God from whom all blessing flow/" Mr. Carroll; barn yard game. "Sh! Sh! I'm laying an egg"  Sept 12 Seniors "put out" candidates for "School Life." Old members of Faculty entertain new members. Were they initiated? Ask Mr. Graham. Sept 13 Vanity! Vanity! May Reid had to powder her face and ask Catherine if it was on straight before she would answer to the roll call. Sept 14 Senior class meeting. Assembly, Associate editors come out. Sept 17 Seniors pulled some New Yells in Assembly. Banner parade. "Have you seen the Junior candidate for associate editor? He sure is good-looking. O! Slush!"  Sept 18 Candidates make speeches in assembly. Have you registered yet? McKinley outlines here. Members of the American History class turn pale. Sept 19 Election day. Everybody is enthusiastic. Major Dixon speaks on "American and Verdun." Pee Wees defeat Midgets. Sept 22 Election over. Everybody settles back into a peaceful state of mind, except the Juniors. Sept 23 At last we find out who our advisors are. Where are all Miss Woods' Seniors? Senior class meeting. Sept 24 Mrs. Mosely explains why we have to be so quiet in study hall right after the noon hour. Lets our dinner digest. Pep meeting in assembly, "Shang" Herndon, "Fat" March, and "Mr." Cox make speeches. Sept 25 Physical training in fine progress. Black Bomino [Domino] meeting. " Have you paid your 'two-bits' for the Senior party?" Sept 26 Football season begins, Game with Anadarko. Called at 4:15. Score 13-13 in our favor. Well they couldn't beat us. Doesn't Marguerite Stanford make a good H. S. Vamp? Seniors entertain faculty and Anadarko boys. Sh! Sh! Don't mention it, but Mr. Doyle, can you imagine, matched pennies and won "13"??? Mr. Herring thinks a new course in dishwashing should be added.
