His name is just Fogg Is he living? A. He is dead Is your mother living or dead. A. Living What is her name? A. Joanna Rowe Are you married? A. No, sir, not married Are you a full blood? A. Yes, sir, a full blood Did you ever have any other name besides BIRD FOGG? A. I think it was registered as John Fogg. (On 1896 roll, page 585 (hard to read the page number), # 716, Bird Fogg, Flint District. On page 582, # 1510, Bird Fogg, or Roe, Flint District.) The name of Bird Fogg appearing upon the census roll of 1896 as well as the upon the pay roll of 1894, and he being duly identified by page and number as indicated in the testimony, he is ordered duly enlisted for enrollment as a :Cherokee citizen by blood, he appearing to be a full blood Indian. --------------------------------------------------- Brice C. Redbird, who being duly sworn, on oath depose and say that they are well acquainted with Bird Fogg , who makes the foregoing application and statements, and have known him for 10 years and 10 years, respectively, and know him to be the identical person he represents himself to be, and that the statements made by him are true, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and they have no interest whatever in his claim. Lynch and Sam Shell who, being duly sworn, on oath depose and say that they are well acquainted with Bird Fogg, who makes the foregoing application and statement, and have known him for 15 years and 20 years, respectively, and know him to be the identical person he represents himself to be and that on May 28, 1906, he had the children living as above set forth, and that the statements made by him are true, and they have no interest whatever in his claim.
