Garfield Franklin Hembree

Garfield "Gar" Franklin Hembree, long time resident of Snyder, Texas departed for a better and more beautiful place at 2:45 p.m. on March 25, 1976. Brother Hembree, born 7 Feb. 1904 at Gertie, OK., was married on Sept. 24, 1926 to Janie Garman at Antlers, OK.

Brother Hembree is survived by wife, Janie of Snyder, TX. a daughter , Betty Jane Johnson, Abilene, TX., two sons, Clint Ray and Delmer Lee Hembree, of Snyder, TX., four sisters: Lovis Cullens, Waurika, OK., Mary Jane Standifer of Bakersfield, CA., Jimmie Bowman, Midwest City, OK., and Bertha Bryant of Bethany, OK.; two brothers Mike Hembree, Nocoma Park, OK., and Harmon Hembree of Oklahoma City. Sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
