Lincoln Rowe (should be Lowe) Shoots
Mrs. Una McGill And Then Turns Gun on Himself
Word was received here last Sunday evening that Lincoln Rowe
(Lowe), a 24 year old farmer, had shot and seriously wounded Mrs. Una
McGill at Farris in Atoka County, and then turned the gun and killed
himself. Dr. E. Guinn of Antlers was called and he made an inspection as
to the cause of the death.
Mrs. McGill was employed at the home of Buck Taylor as
housekeeper, and her former home was in Oklahoma City. She received
bullet wounds in the right shoulder, but was expected to recover. Her
eight-year old son was the only witness to the shooting. The woman is
expected to recover from the shots.
