Hazel Laura "Warren" Moore
Service for Hazel Laura "Warren" Moore, 89, a resident
of Ada for the past twelve years and former Sulphur and Atoka resident
were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2000 at Brown Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Loyd Thompson officiating. Interment was in the
Westview Cemetery, Atoka, with Brown Funeral Home in charge of the
arrangements.
Mrs. Moore was born March 27, 1911 at Hatfield, AR. To David
Crockett and Mattie Ann "Nichols" Warren. She died Wed.,
November 29, 2000 at Jan Francis Care Center in Ada.
Mrs. Moore graduated from Neosho High School in Missouri in 1928.
She attended business college and moved to Atoka and was married to
James Richard Moore on Dec. 10, 1936. They moved to San Antonio, TX for
six months to job training at Tinker Field, where they were both
employed. They moved to Oklahoma City, then retired and moved to Sulphur,
and in later years she moved to Ada.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the Sulphur First Baptist Church and
was affiliated with Atoka First Baptist Church before moving to Sulphur.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Moore, her
parents D. C. and Mattie Warren; one daughter, Judy Moore Hembree;
sisters; Daisy Warren Lowry and Kittie Warren; brothers, Lewis Warren,
Reagan Warren and Dale Warren; a nephew Crocket Lowry.
Pallbearers were Scott Robinson, Ty Lowe, Arnold Patton, Kevin
Hembree, Fred Lowry and Tony Potts.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Givins and Chris Edgar.
