Clara Estelle Prater was born March 21, 1918 in Choctaw County Oklahoma to H.T and Emma Stwart Walker

Clara Estelle Walker married Jim Prater December 17, 1934 in Bentley Oklahoma. He preceeded her in death March 18, 1990. She is also preceeded in death by two infant daughters Lois and Marleen. 1 grandson Timothy Prater and 1 infant great grandson (Cooper) 2 brothers and 3 sisters and her parents.

Survinging are her sons: Orvel Prater of Albany, Oklahoma, Norvel (Dugan) Prater of Princeton, Texas, Chester Prater of Yarnaby, Oklahoma, Derril Prater of Roberta, Oklahoma, Merril Prater of Telephone, Texas, Aronld Prater of Soper, Oklahoma: Daughters Lou Halkum of Durnat Oklahoma, Genell Peirce of Newalla, Oklahoma Brother Henry Walker of Durnat, Oklahoma 29 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren.

Granny Prater will be missed but never forgotten. You will be in our heart forever and always.

Visitation will be from 6-8p.m. Tuesday December 27, 2005 in Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Durant, Oklahoma.
