Joe Roberson/Robinson
December 30, 1862—May 4, 1930 Joe Roberson who lived two miles east
of Atoka passed away at his home on Sunday last month after an illness
of a few weeks. Mr. Roberson had been a resident of Atoka County for
many years living in the vicinity of Stringtown for a long time.
Funeral arrangements were looked after by the local camp of Woodmen
of the World, of which order he was a member for many years. At the time
of his death, Mr. Roberson had lived in Oklahoma for 40 years, 38 of
which were spent in Atoka County. He is survived by his wife and
children.

Robinson; children, Adealpha, Bonnie Dee, Edan Jewll, John Martin, Cecil
Edgar, Mary Francis (Josie), Marshall Overton, also two step-children,
Thomas T. and Mrytle Doshier. Joseph Bishop Robinson was born in Terre
Haute, IN, to John M. Robinson and Mary E. Bishop Robinson.
