John Perry Thompson Jr. and wife Sarah J. Bunch Thompson and children

One of the children Sarah has in her lap is believed to be Lee Brown Smith, child of N.B. Smith (her second husband) and Frances Pearlee Thompson Smith (sister to John, who passed when Lee was born). This would date this photo in late 1903.

Sarah and John's children are: Minerva, Jake, Joe, Jay, Claude, Alice, John. The oldest daughter here is Minerva, the names of the other children in this photo have not been verified, we do think Alice is one of the babies in her lap, and it is thought that Claude passed young. The woman standing in the back is also unidentified at this point.
