She was born 15 Oct 1866 in Clay County, Missouri, and died 05 Nov 1955
in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Notes for JEREMIAH RAYMOND PERDUE:
Raymond Perdue was 12 years old when his mother died in 1879 from TB.
His father did not remarry and the older children helped raise the younger.
Raymond might have first moved west to Missouri before settling in Oklahoma
(prior to statehood). His marriage record in the Choctaw Nation gave his
age as 21 years and wife Fannie Carrel 18 years. He was 32 years old when
he was killed the 15th of Feb 1902. His wife was pregnant with their last
child Raymond Jr who was born eleven days after his death. According to
family tradition two ranchers were feuding and one hired men to kill the
other one. Raymond was not involved in the feud but was shot by mistake.
The assailants served time in the McALISTER, Oklahoma Indian Territory
Prison.

Notes for GEORGE ANDERSON PERDUE:
George and Ola lived near McAlester until their three olders son were
born in 1926. The farming was very bad because of dry weather. The bowl
weavels destroyed their cotton crop. They were going west to California.
He had an Aunt living near Chickasha, Oklahoma and they stopped off there
to pick cotten for money to get to California. They lived in the garage
of his Aunts with a dirt floor and that is where their daughter Charlistine
was born in 1927. They never made it to California. They stayed in that
area and share cropped for some time. They rented farms for several years
and in 1946 bought their first 160 acres farm. They were living on this
farm when George died.
