Russell JOHNSON, assistant cashier of the State National Bank at
Shawnee, attempts suicide.
Emmet DALTON, a noted Oklahoma outlaw, pardoned from Kansas
penitentiary.
Gottlieb SCHULTZE, a German farmer at Binger, sets fire to town jail
and is incinerated.

In a street duel at Pauls Valley Randolph CATHEY, deputy United States
Marshal, killed, after fatally wounding his assailant, James STEVENSON,
a former jointist.

Robert HOWELL of Pauls Valley, former rough rider, died from accidentally
shooting himself in right arm.

J. G. CONDIT, cashier of the First National Bank at Kingfisher, attempted
suicide.

M. E. TRAPP, state auditor-elect, weds Miss Lou STRANG at Guthrie.

D. L. RANKIN, former cashier of defunct Planters and Merchant's Bank at
Lawton, mysteriously disappears.

C. F. IRWIN, former associate justice, quits Oklahoma, going to Elgin,
Ill.
Dr. F. C. HOOPES, an Oklahoma City physician, died as a result of
unnecessary surgical operation.
J. R. LANKARD, a Kingfisher miller, testified at interstate commerce
hearing, he was threatened with retaliation from railroads if he
brought suit against them because of excessive rates.

The missing body of D. R. RANKIN, assistant cashier of the defunct
Planters and Merchants bank at Lawton, found at 4 o'clock by Preston
TICE-AH-KIE, an Indian boy, two miles north of Lawton in Cache Creek,
Rankin had disappeared Nov 7.
Judge B. K. BROWN of Shawnee, died Sunday; buried in Oklahoma City today.

Muskogee undertaker presents bill of $629 for conducting funeral of
Charles HAIR; investigation indicates the indian was murdered.
Dairymen of state organize association at meeting in Guthrie. Temporary
officers: J.E. NISSY, Guthrie, president, O.A. SMITH; Watonga, vice
president; Roy C. POTTS, Stillwater, secretary; Fred FELBER, El Reno,
treasurer.

Special Policeman C. U. PORTER shot and killed Frank GLOVER, an escaped
convict, at Enid, Glover is from Springfield Mo.
J. L. HITCHCOCK of Vinita claims to have lived longer in Oklahoma than
any other citizen of the new state; he claims Oklahoma has been
his residence for 84 years.

Gus A. IMEL, cashier of Bison State bank, discharged after a preliminary
hearing on embezzlement charge, files suit against Fred FROMHOLZ, president
of the bank, for $10,000 alleging slander.

Charges against police chief SIMS at Shawnee dismissed.

At Coyil Mrs. U. N. CRAFT shot and killed her husband, alleging
that he had threatened her children.

Frank Trigg, clerk of the district court, Pushmataha County, dropped dead.

E. J. RICE, 70 years old, was found dead in cow lot near Perry.

C. D. JORDON, real estate man at Enid, commits suicide because
of domestic troubles.
F. B. LILLIE, president of the State board of pharmacy, weds Miss
Fannie TYLER of Johnstown, O., sister of his former wife.

Miss May WINN, 16 year old daughter of W. B. WINN of Anadarko, was
killed in runaway.
Dora KEEBLER, 16, killed by the accidental discharge of a gun in the
hands of Harry KEEBLER, age 11, at Stillwater.
Robbers blow safe of J. NEUFIELD's store at Homestead, but only got $17.

Captain Henry SUMMERS of Oklahoma City committed suicide, taking morphine.

Dr. J. B. JONES, former postmaster of Fame, died near Bower.
Margaret FORTNER, 17, of Stillwater, elopes with and weds William
A. GILES, 22, son of a Chicago Banker.
Irving WELLS, telegraph operator at Jones City, ends existence by
use of poison; shot at physician who would have prevented his suicide.

Mistaking cyanide of potash for water, Paul, 3 year old son of Dr. H. H.
WYNNE, Oklahoma City, drank it and died almost instantly.

Rev. Frank COLE of McAlester, having converted Miss Bertie HENDRICKS
of Wynnewood, weds her.

Clint WORRAL of Hobart selected as state printer.

Tobe BRASSFIELD, prominent stockman and farmer, shot and killed at
Canadian by Frank PEFFEL, merchant.

James GARDENER, negro, lynched at Henryetta for killing Albert BATES,
a white man who refused to let him have a livery rig.
Mrs Emma BOBBETT entered a gambling house at Muskogee, poked gun at
doorkeeper and demanded her 13 year old boy, who she believed to be
at the gaming table. Citizens got busy and closed gambling houses.
Clyde PERKINS, negro, in Lansing penitentiary issues statement alleging
that one "Kid" HENRY was the one guilty of the "ear snipping" murders
at Oklahoma City and Chickasha the night of July 27.
Tulsa changed the names of all its streets.

Armed citizens of Henryetta patrol its streets, fearing negro uprising
because of lynching of GARDENER, negro murderer.

More than 100 negroes migrate from Henryetta to avoid possible race
conflict.
Ollie GRISSON, real estate agent, shot at O. L. REEVES, his brother-in-law
at Muskogee. Reeves returned the fire, inflicting possible fatal wounds.

Frank CHESLEY, millionaire oil operator of Tulsa, sues for divorce.

At Crusher, Dr. HARRY, believed to be insane, scalped Dan DIRGIN, hammered
the bleeding wound with a probe, using a rock and mallet.
Thomas P. MELLON, one of Oklahoma City's leading Merchant's died.
Engineer Henry WHITE crushed to death and several others wounded in Rock
Island wreck near Duncan.

Ham P. BEE, state senate reading clerk, suffered serious attack of
appendicitis while at Ft. Supply.

Dr. HARRY jailed at Ardmore to await action of grand jury on manslaughter
charge.
Creely CRIM, 19, at Ardmore, jilted, attempts self-destruction by
swallowing turpentine.

At Featherstone, an unknown burglar was shot and killed by August
TIMMERMAN in the latter's grove.
