Richard P. Willis, Sr. and Sarah E. Kent Willis
of
Hydro, OK. about 1906 or 1907.

Richard P. Willis, Sr. was born 30 June 1833 in Caroline County, Maryland to Zachariah and Mary B. (Fisher) Willis. He followed his Uncle's family out to St. Joseph, Missouri in the 1850's and there met and married Sarah Ellen Kent daughter of Absalom and Isabel Kent on 17 Oct. 1861. They lived back and forth across the line between Missouri and Kansas until about 1902 when they took up a homestead outside of Hydro.
He died in Hydro 22 April 1910.
