Sylvester and Ellen Watson 

Sylvester Aden Watson born Jan 1, 1838 and died Dec 08, 1923 with his wife Ellen Kasiah Largent Watson born Feb 09, 1842 and died March 05, 1906.

Sylvester brought his family to El Reno in 1890, and spent the rest of his life there.  He and his wife are buried at Oak Chapel Cemetery just outside of El Reno, Oklahoma.  He was a member of the Mason's in El Reno.  His son John Henry Watson was a deputy sheriff of Canadian County.  Sometime before 1910.

Aged Mason Dies:

Sylvester Aden Watson, for many years Tyler of the Masonic Lodge in El Reno, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S.F. Hostetter,13 miles northeast of El Reno on Saturday, Dec. 8, 1923 at the age of 85 years. The deceased suffered a stroke about a year ago and has been confined to his bed much of the time. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday afternoon at the Oak Chapel Church by Rev. Holmes Nichols and assisted by the El Reno Masonic Lodge, and interment was made in the Oak Chapel cemetery.
