GLEN M. RICKER Dies After Long Illness --- Rites to be Conducted on Friday Afternoon from Baptist Church
GLEN McGREGOR RICKER, 43, owner of the El Reno Abstract Co., died Wednesday afternoon at his home at 603 South Barker following an illness of several years, the outgrowth of a spinal injury received in his youth. Born in El Reno in 1896, Mr. Ricker was a graduate of El Reno high school, and was active in the various civic clubs of the city, the Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist church. He became associated in the business with his father, the last H. K. Ricker in 1922, and on the death of the latter five years ago, became manager. Mr. Ricker was untied in mariage to Miss Esther Marshall in 1923, and the wife and two children, Helen Lou and John Henry, survive. Funeral rites will be conducted from the First Baptist church Friday afternoon by Rev. J. W. Hodges, assisted by Rev. W. R. Johnson and interment will be made in the El Reno cemetery. The El Reno Knights Templar will conduct the knights' ritual at the grave. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Warren, uncle and aunt of the deceased and Mrs. Louella Marshall, mother of Mrs. Ricker, arrived Wednesday evening from Tulsa for the funeral.
