Vinita—Funeral arrangements are pending for Jess A.
Jones, 77-year-old Craig county pioneer who died Tuesday in
his home in Bluejacket after a 10-day illness. The
Burckhalter funeral home, Vinita, is in charge.
Jones, who had resided in Bluejacket since 1946, previously
lived near Welch for 38 years. He was a retired farmer and a
member of Masonic lodge No. 263 in Welch. He was born in
Wayne county, W.Va.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Martha Fields, Milton,
W.Va., and Mrs. Georgia Luster, Barboursville, W.Va.; and
three brothers, John H., Hayward, Calif.; mack B., Picher,
and Jennings B., Bluejacket.
