VINITA, June 20.—Charles Murray,
30 years old, was instantly killed by lightning in the barn
on the David Witt farm, two miles east of Vinita this
afternoon. Murray lived at Skiatook. He was returning from a
visit in Missouri accompanied by two small daughters. The
children took refuge from the storm in the Witt home and
were uninjured. Lightning struck the barn in which Murray
was sheltered.
