Guilty Plea Follows Capture After Long Freedom.
VINITA, March 10.—Frank Holder, who was shot by his wife to
death at Vinita September 28, 1914, pleaded guilty in the
district court of Craig county at Vinita Friday and was
sentenced by Judge A.C. Brewster to life imprisonment.
Holder shot his wife as she was returning from a street
carnival.
Holder escaped and was captured a month ago at Kaw City, Kay
county, where he was working on a railroad section gang, by
Sheriff Sam Ridenour.
