VINITA, July 25.—Oliver F. Broderick jr., 22 years old, died
in a hospital here late Tuesday of injuries received a few
hours earlier when he was struck by a steam shovel at a rock
quarry 15 miles east of here.
Broderick died of a fractured skull. Survivors include his
parents and a brother, all of Wyandotte in Ottawa county.
The body was taken to Miami for funeral arrangements.
