VINITA, Jan. 27.—Mrs. Ed Fansler, Welch, was notified
Tuesday that her son, Ed Fansler, jr., was killed in action
at Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7. Young Fansler was stationed aboard
the U.S.S. Arizona which was sunk in the sneak raid.
Memorial services are scheduled for the First Baptist church
at Welch Sunday to be conducted by Rev. Otis Beatty.
