VINITA, Dec. 24.—Services were conducted here for William T.
Rye, 63 years old, prominent Vinita attorney, who died in a
Vinita hospital following a long illness.
Rye came to Vinita in 1908 and began his practice of law.
For four years he was the law partner of the late Justice
James S. Davenport of the state criminal court of appeals.
He served for a time as assistant county attorney and was
Vinita city attorney for several years until ill health
forced his retirement. His wife survives.
