Vinita Police Chief Is Fatally Wounded
 

    VINITA, May 4.—Chief of Police L.A. Shearhart of Vinita was fatally wounded late Friday night and state highway patrolmen, city and county officers were searching for a elderly Negro named Hardrick following a shooting at a house in the southeast part of town.
