VINITA, Oct. 1.—C.N. Tyler, 57, Vinita civic leader and
manager of the Phoenix Federal Savings and Loan association,
died in a local hospital late Monday, two hours after being
stricken with a heart attack.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the First
Christian church. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
He attended county schools and was graduated from Willie
Halsell college, Vinita, after attending the male seminary
at Tahlequah. He was a veteran of World war I.
Survivors include his wife and three daughters, Mrs. D.E.
Sawyer and Mrs. Annabelle Milford, both of Vinita, and Mrs.
S.C. Bruce, Alexandria, Va.
