VINITA—William Alexander Richardson, 84, said to be a cousin
of Ulysses S. Grant, former president, died Tuesday in his
home in Langley.
Richardson’s mother, the former Miss Becky Grant, was a
first cousin of the late president. Richardson, a former
resident of Mammouth Springs, Ark., moved to Langley in 1940
to make his home.
Survivors include two sons, two daughters, 18 grandchildren
and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be in Mammouth Springs at 2 p.m. Thursday.
