VINITA, Dec. 2.—Mrs. Elsie L. Nichols, ?0, wife of John W.
Nichols, died early Friday in a local hospital. She had been
ill three weeks.
Mrs. Nichols, born and reared in Vinita, was a member of the
First Baptist church, United Daughters of Confederacy and
Daughters of American Revolution.
Survivors are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Joe B. Butler,
McAlester, a son, Howard, Vinita; her mother, Mrs. Annie E.
Morrison, Vinita; two sisters, Mrs. Jasper Smith, Welch; and
Mrs. Ruth Morrison, Vinita; two brothers, Dr. H.C. Morrison,
Oklahoma City, and Roy Morrison, Miami; and three
grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist
church.
