VINITA—Mrs. Ida Paden, 46, wife of Clarence Paden,
secretary-manager of the Pawhuska chamber of commerce, died
Monday night in Pawhuska after a short illness.
Mrs. Paden, former Oklahoma A&M college student, taught at
Fairfax and Woodward. The Padens had lived in Pawhuska since
July, moving there from Perry where he was secretary-manager
of the chamber of commerce. They made their home in Vinita
when he held a similar position here.
Survivors in addition to the husband, include two daughters,
Wiletta and Judy, both of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Roy
L. Lee, Roswell, N.M.; Mrs. Byron Tresler, Vinita, and Mrs.
Ben Jack Powers, Stillwater, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
W.P. Henderson, Yale.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Christian
church, Perry, burial will be in the Ingals cemetery, Payne
county.
