The death of a Boston, Mass, man in a Vinita hospital
Friday, brought to three the number of traffic fatalities in
Oklahoma in 24 hours.
Mario Mattei, of Boston, died several hours after he lost
control of his car. It struck a culvert east of Vinita on
U.S. 66. His wife, Mrs. Emma Mattei, 55, died at the scene.
A nephew riding with them, Joseph Curti, 33, of San Diego,
Calif., suffered face cuts, a broken leg and possible
