VINITA, Dec. 8—Services for Rollie C. Clark, 59, prominent
Vinita attorney, will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the First
Christian church. Clark died late Saturday in his home after
a heart attack.
He had practiced law here since 1915, and had served as city
attorney since 1947. He was graduated from the Valparaiso
law school, Indiana, and had law offices in Miami, Okla.,
and Fort Smith, Ark., before coming to Vinita. At one time
he served as Craig county attorney.
Clark was an active worker in the First Christian church
here and was chairman of the church board. He was a member
of the Craig county Bar association. He was born Aug. 20,
1893 in Arapaho, Neb.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice, five sisters, Mrs. Mary
Sester, John Day, Ore.; Mrs. Daisy Bratt, Arapaho, Neb.;
Mrs. Kay Farrin and Mrs. Belle Selby, both of Sulphur
Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Loue Robinson, Maysville, Ark., and
a brother, Otto Clark, Washington state.
