VINITA—Services for Romy Ford, 57, former Craig countyan
who died Monday in his home in Hesperia, Calif., will be
held at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist church here.
Burial will be in the Big Cabin cemetery.
Ford, born in Quincy, Mo., lived about 25 years in Craig
county before moving to Chicago, New York City and later
California. An early –day Baptist minister here, he
later engaged in the building contracting business in
California.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; three daughters,
Mrs. Gearl Dean Boertje, Hesperia; Mrs. Imogene Benton,
Oakland, and Mrs. Naydene Eyre, Texas; one sister, Mrs.
Bill Mabery, Big Cabin, and one granddaughter.
