S. Stanislaus Funeral Today
VINITA, Aug. 18—Services for Stephen Stanislaus, 79-year-old
Craig county resident who died Friday in Redlands, Calif.,
where he had lived the past six years, will be at 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday in the Burckhalter funeral chapel. Burial will be
in Bluejacket cemetery.
Before retiring as a farmer, Stanislaus had resided in
Bluejacket about 40 years. He was born Oct. 18, 1873, in
Texas county, Missouri.
Survivors include: four daughters, Mrs. C.W. Crawford,
Vista, Calif.; Mrs. J.C. Gibson, Redlands; Mrs. Edna
Wiseman, Anderson, Ind.; and Mrs. C.W. Shaffer, Vinita; two
sons, Floyd Stanislaus, Hawthorne, Calif.; and Chester
Stanislaus, Anderson, Ind.; one brother, Bob Stanislaus,
Vinita; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Leighty, Carlton, Mo.; 15
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
