VINITA—Services for Harvey Burton Frits, 68, a long-time
Vinita resident who died Monday in his home, were here
Wednesday.
Frits, who formerly operated a fruit market here, had been
in the rug-weaving profession several years. He was born
Sept. 19, 1885, in Missouri and came to Vinita at an early
age. He was a member of the United Brethren church.
Survivors include: his wife, Julia Ann; three daughters,
Mrs. Eva Byrd, Chelsea;l Mrs. Everett Bible, Adair; and Mrs.
Floyd Myers, route 1, Vinita; three sons, Roy, Miami; Clyde,
Chelsea; and Harvey, Vinita; two brothers, Emerson, Modesto,
Calif.; and Charley, Chelsea; one half-brother, Sam Kilgore,
Parsons, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Emma Kizer, Vinita; 27
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
