VINITA—Services for James W. Lee, 88-year-old retired
farmer-stockman who died Tuesday in a local hospital, were
here Thursday in Luginbuel Brothers funeral home chapel.
Lee was born March 9, 1865, in Bullitt county, Kentucky, and
came to Craig county in 1906 from Carroll county, Missouri.
He had resided in the West Point district near here until
about nine years ago when he and his wife, who died in May,
1951, moved to Vinita.
He was a member of the Trinity Baptist church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Neva Martin, Vinita;
one sister, Mrs. Millie Shoptaw, Louisville; six
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
