BLUEJACKET—Services for Mrs. Mary Irene Hobbs, 90-year-old
Bluejacket resident who died Sunday in her home, will be
conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Baptist church here.
Committal services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in
the Mount Hope cemetery, Independence, Kan.
Mrs. Hobbs, a former resident of Independence, had lived in
Bluejacket the past 25 years. She was a member of the
Assembly of God church in Bluejacket.
Survivors include: her husband, Rev. I.J. Hobbs; two sons,
H.E. Robley, Independence; and Alva E. Robley, Eldorado
Springs, Mo.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Grace Davis,
Bluejacket; Mrs. Vera Patton, Tulsa; Mrs. Trella Griffith,
Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Winnie Scaggs, Miami; one sister,
Mrs. Clara Cravens, Illinois; one son, Milio Crane,
California; and several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
