VINITA—Services for Mrs. Esther J. Humphrey, 73-year-ol
Bluejacket resident who died Sunday in a local hospital
following a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in the Methodist church, Bluejacket.
Mrs. Humphrey was born Sept. 8, 1881, in Leon, Iowa, and
came to Nash, Okla., in 1900. She moved to Craig county in
1930 and had resided in Bluejacket since 1935. She was a
member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include her husband, J.R.; two daughters, Mrs.
Frances Smith, Vinita, and Mrs. Dorothy Wallis, White City,
Kan.; three sons, Fred Haegert and Max Humphrey, both of
Bluejacket, and Rex Humphrey, Calina, Ohio; four brothers,
Lewis Dale, Alberta, Canada, Richard Dale, Olympia, Wash.,
Walter Dale, Berryville, Ark., and Bert Dale, Nash; two
sisters, Mrs. Forrest Homan, Crescent, and Mrs. George
Irwin, Gotebo; 14 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
